The Mission trip took place from October 7,2017 thru October 14, 2017. The dental mission trip was part of the Midwest Medical Mission in Samara, Santo Domingo. Activities were at Hospital Dr. Leopoldo POU. Work supported Dr. Van Parham and his staff as well as 2 local interpreters. There were 594 patients seen in the clinic as well as 121 patients seen by Dr. Parham. There were 147 extractions and 63 surgical procedures including hernias, gall bladders, appendix, hysterectomies as well as growths removed. Also people with prosthetics legs and arms were seen by the team. |
